Leah was Grey Haven's first Connemara and will always be very special to us.  She is a well balanced, athletic mare with that "look at me" attitude.  An excellent mover with a quality walk, a cadenced trot with a lift and extension and a balanced uphill canter.  She is sensitive and responsive to the aids, forward and energetic.  She has the dressage movement I love!  Everyone in the States has heard of Leah sire's, Gilnocky Ard Righ Macdaire, he was awarded in 1984 the "ACPS An Tostal".  The "An Tostal Trophy" is an award given to a performance stallion to promote the Conneamara breed.
Leah is a very striking, pretty mare with great conformation.  She is level headed and kind.  She is an excellent mother and all of her foals have her loving, willing attitude.  Leah's foals have great minds and are very easy to start under saddle.  Leah has given us four beautiful foals.  A filly, GH Maureen MacDaire by *Ballinaboy Eamonn and three colts, GH Paddy MacDaire by GH Collin O'Patrick, GH Reilly MacDaire and GH Keegan MacDaire by *Robuck.
In 2005, Leah received the ACPS Gold Medal in Dressage and placed in USDF All Breeds Awards.
Take a look at Leah's pedigree, performance and progeny!
